Retrieving Your Saved Email Signature Codes
Well, you've been using an email signature for a holiday or special occasion, and, now you would like to use one of your old favorite signatures once again. NO PROBLEM...because you can easily identify each of the email signatures that you have previously saved.
So, let's get started. First, be sure your signature box is empty. If it isn't empty, CLICK HERE to review the necessary steps to empty it. Use your "back" key to return to this page.
Press your "mail" key to get to your "mail list".
Click the word "storage".
You should now be into your "saved" emails folder.
Look through your saved emails until you locate the email signature you're looking for.
Open the email.
Below the "subject line" in the body of the email you'll see the coding for the email signature. Look at the first word or code. For example, this could be the first word or code that is printed in the body of the email: <<>body
Press the "find" key. A popup screen will appear.
Type the first word or code from the body of the email into the "find word" box. Using the same example from above, this is what we would type into the "find word" box: <<>body
Click the "box" or click the words "Find on Page"
The first word or code in the body of the email has now been highlighted. In our example, the highlighted word or code is <<>body
Press and hold down the "shift key" and at the same time, press your "right arrow" key or your "down arrow" key to continue highlighting the remaining email signature codes. Note: the "right arrow" key will highlight one character at a time, and, the "down arrow" key will highlight one line of text at a time.
Release the "shift key" after you've finished highlighting the entire code.
Press and hold down the "cmd" key and at the same time TAP the "C" key. This will copy or save the code in your browser's memory (your browser does have a memory, but it is extremely limited). Release the "cmd" key.
Press the "mail" key.
Click the word "settings".
Click the word "signature".
Use your "arrow keys" to move your cursor to the extreme top left corner of the box.
Type in this code: <<>html<>>
Press and hold down the "cmd" key and at the same time TAP the "V" key. This will paste the code into your signature box.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the word "Done".
At the "mail settings" page, go to the bottom of the page, and click the word "Done", once again.
Press your "mail" key.
Click the word "write". Your email signature should appear.
